4x4 selector switch in cab illuminates but dose not engage 4x4. Manual locks on weel hubs do engage 4x4. what is the problem? how do I fix it? and where do I get information on the 4x4 system, such as drawings?

If you have manual hubs, the automatic system wont work.If I misunderstand you, then check the vacuum lines at thehubs for damage, this is a common issue with these trucks.For further info, you can click on the"car repair manual" link to sign up for Mitchell.
