2004 Ford F250 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 12000 miles

6.0 diesel some time it runs rough no power black smoke rubbing noise i pull over wait a while then runs great what can it be ..help..

EGR system. They go bad, cause a rough running condition, no power, and a little smoke. Replace the EGR vavle and it should take care of your problem.
