2004 Ford F250 brake lights

The brake lights will work "when they want to". Sometimes they work properly other times they don't. They will always come on if the brake pedal is pushed and held as hard as is possible

Inspect and test the brake switch follow the brake pedal arm till it meets the brake support bracket the switch is right here.
