The truck has the 5.4L gasser engine and when I bought the truck it had true dual exhaust installed with Magnaflow mufflers and the catalytic convertor was removed (very loud and "rappy"). I would like to put a catalytic convertor back on but would like to keep the true duals to improve performance. Should I install the stock convertor back onto the truck and run dual exhaust convertor back or mount 2 convertors to keep it true dual exhaust? Thanks,

you should keep the TRUE dual and just put in the convertors.

cat back dual exhaust is not high performance it is just for looks and noise.

true dual is what gives you the performance, not cat back.
