I am haveing issues removing the front bolt holding the leaf spring to the shackle. I have everything else apart but it seems there is not enough room to remove the bolt with all the radiator support stuff in the way. It looks like the bolt is about 5 in. Long with only about 3 inches of room to work with.

Can the entire mount be removed? Then the bolt is accessible? Or tip the spring outward?

I can only see 2 of the bolts that hold the shackle on the frame - I assume there are 2 more on the front of it but it looks like the whole front end will have to come off to remove it that way meaning the bumper etc. I may have to do that but was woondering if there was another way.

i uploaded a few more pics - it looks like i will have to remove to whole front bumper assembly to get to the two front shakle bolts in one of the pics i am pointing to where they are located under the shackle. i just dont see any other way to remove the spring/shackle bolt.

ok i figured it out !!!!! you do have to remove the whole front bumper which exposes the bolts for the front shackle. there are three of them and they also hold the front tow hook on the frame. removing the bumper was farily easy 6 bolts and 2 brackets in the front of the fender wells. it looks like all in all it is about a 6-8 hour job from start to finish. one other thing to remove is the front drive shaft so the rear shackle bolt can be pulled out - probably something ford did to add to the time to complete the job. thanks for your comments merlin and i will recommend this site to anyone who needs help... thanks alio
