2000 Ford F-250 TRUCK SHAKES.

Hey there, my truck shakes when it reaches 45-50 mph. Im not sure what can be causing the problem. 8 inch lift on 38 inch tires

The first thing I suspect if I start to get shake as I get higher up in speed, is a slipped belt in the tire.

The tire is round for the most part at lower speeds, but at higher speeds the slipped belt will let the tire distort and become egg shaped.

Or there could be suspension problems.

But swap the wheels front to back to see if the vibration follows and we'll go from there.

OK. I NOW REALIZE I HAVE A FRONT HUB BEARING PROBLEM. HOW DO I KNOW IF I HAVE ALL WHEEL ABS, OR JUST 2 WHEEL ABS?

Call the parts department of your local ford dealer.

Have your VIN ready.

They should be able to tell you everything about your truck that you ever wanted to know.
