I was just wondering how much on average it should cost to have a tranny shop put in a new tranny seal (front end)? and how much a new tranny should cost? i just bought this vehicle, used of course.

Transmission rebuild will cost in the region of $1500 - $3000 depending on where you have it rebuilt ? to replace the seal takes 6 hours labor time at shop houry rate plus around $10 for seal
