1991 Ford F250 map sensor

what would cause a map sensor to go bad? i put a new one in on nov. 20 and before that probably three months prior

map sensors usually do not go bad. usually it is a rough running condition that sets the map code but it is not actually the problem. * a engine misfire will set a map code. hope this helps
