1986 Ford F250 V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I'm switching from mechanical Fuel pump to electrical fuel pump.

What do i do with the fuel return line?

Do i need it?

No, you can use vacuum caps on both ends to keep any crud out, in case you go back to mechanical later
