1985 Ford F250 fuel tank venting

1985 Ford F250 V8 Four Wheel Drive Manual

I am replacing the rear fuel tank (steel) and I want to be sure that I vent the tank properly. Is the vent through the filler tube and/or from the rubber hose that is coming out of the top of the steel tank?
