thanks for the information on my odometer.

Question,
My speedomoter has always registerd my truck going faster that those electronic speed signs you see on the side of the road. I even had an police friend of mine use a speed gun and it also showed my truck going 2 miles faster. This truck was purchased new by me in 1999. My wheels are 17 inch compared to most other trucks that had 16 inch wheels. Could it be that my truck was never calibrated for these 17 in wheels and that's why I'm registering a faster speed and wouldn't this make my ododmeter miles reading more when my mileage would actually be less. Therefore making my warranty expire before it should have?(I mean warrant by miles).

bigger wheels will register lower speed and lower mileage.

the speedometer will have to be adjusted, it may have been adjusted improperly or was just defective.
