Ignition will not turn

1998 Ford F150 4WD -100,000 miles- V8 6L

The ignition will not turn with the key in it. The steering wheel has been turned so far that ti is locked into position. How do I replace the ignition switch?

Take the tension of the lock by turning the wheel1/4 inch in either direction. The key should turn then.
