I have a 89 f 150 with a 300 strat 6 I need to how to test the fuel pumps I have one on the rail and in the tank

A way you can test it is when u turn ur key to the accessory on listen for a humming noise in the back if you do not hear one then ur fuel pump has mabye gone out. If your car turns over but does not start then the fuel pump may be bad but it could also be a number of other things.

Just depends on if ur vehicle running or not if your car turns over but does not start then the fuel pump may be bad but it could also be a number of other things.
