I just recently worked on my A/C system in my Ford F-150 XLT and could give u some pointers on why its not blowing cold air. First check the compressor, to see if it is kicking on when you turn the AC on or not. Compressor is attached to the front of the motor and has 2 tubes running out from it, one big, one small. You should be able to see if the compressor kicks on by either the engine lowers in rpms when u turn A/C on, sometimes the compressor will make a small air purge sound. If its not kicking on, follow the big tube coming from it, this leads to the drier, on the side somewhere there should be a wire connected to the drier, unplug it and get a piece of wire to jump the connection, (its just bridging the connection) this wire tells whether there is any freon in the system, if the compressor kicks on with the wires to the drier are bridged, then something is wrong with the drier and may need replaced. This is all the help I can give you, hope it can help.
