I have a 1992 F150xl, it has 350,000+km. The engine is TOAST! I have acquired an engine from same model F150, but it's a 1995.

Will it fit in my 1992 truck?
What problems can I expect?

What type are both engines? They put several different types in those years.

If the engines are the same size, i.e. 4.9L, 5.0L, then you won't have any problems. And double check to make sure the 95 motor is OBD1 rather than OBD2.

How do I know if it's OBD1, or OBD2?
Both have exact same intakes, and (orange)injectors, and say 5.0 on the top.
