On xmas night batery was dead, jumped, started took to ford dealer gave it back (dropped it off when at work)never told me what was wrong. Have had periods where it hestitates to turn over. Last week radio did not work when 1st strated, after driving 20 miles it worked, hesitated once or twice in last few weeks. Last night after sitting for 12 hours at work, aroudn 0 degrees, cranked once and was dead. Ford dealer can't find anything wrong with it, help! I'm a woman and luv this truck.

How is it the dealer has the solution when it isn't under warranty?

I would question the parasitic draw on the battery. There may be a module that is not going to slepp so the can be reduced.

Have a firm chat with the service manager and see what his thoughts are to having it diagnosed by an independent shop and letting ford pay the bill or if he can resolve this situation that is costing you an arm and a leg to own. Perhaps he could take the truck for a night and see if it happens to him.

Replace your battery. Your trucks battery probably died at some point, maybe before you got it. Somebody jump started it and recharged it. Unfortunately this drastically damages even a new battery. I bet you will find that your battery is simply no good especially how many times its gone dead on you. Let us know what you end up finding.
