When replacing break pads, I heard that depressing the caliper piston can destroy the ABS... is this true? What can I do to prevent this from happening?

Thanks,
Bruce

I have never had that happen to me or anyone i know.

i have heard of it but as long as you dont put the c-clamp on the abs module when compressing the piston then it shouldnt wreck it,.

how would you get the brakes on without compressing it?
