2006 Ford F150 Left front makes clicking sound

The left front is making a clicking sound at low speed. When I jacked it up and moved the tire back and forth I could hear and feel it. When engaging the 4 wheel drive the sound is louder and then goes away.

Look at the universal joint between the two ball joints. Look for movement in the shaft while spinning the wheel. Do this with the wheels straight ahead and when turned to the side.
