2006 Ford F150 fuel milage

I bought a used 2006 Ford F-150 w/ a 4.6 l gas engine last Nov 2007.
My mileage started around 15 city driving and is graduating down to13 highway/city driving and now 12.5 highway/city.
Had it to Ford dealer and they say there is nothing wrong and will only get 13 in the city. I installed a K&M air filter with no change. What can I do to get better mpg?

may be time for a tune up and some engine cleaner. Also check your tire inflation.

maybe drive slower between stop signs.
