My tuck has started making a noise in the left front auto 4wd hub. It acts as though it is trying to engage in 4wd on its own. It only does this while in 2wd. If you put it in 4wd is works perfect. Any suggestions?????????

I would start by checking the differential fluid. Is it full and clean?
