the odometer was blinking/flickering and just went off
while driving,when I stoped I turned the engine off and back on but the odometer still off what could it be the problem?

after my original question,I drove the truck and the odometer came back on but blinking approx. every three seconds and then went off.after I stopped ime and and car engine off it came back on again but stiil blinking,but one thing happened,after engine is off all dash board is off but when I oppened the drivers door the odometer came on,close the door and is off.
