I Have a 2005 f150 that has a thump noise every time I go Over a bump It doesn't mater if it hits on the front wheels or back. I had it checked out by a service person to make sure the shocks and all the springs were tight when Iam driving it sounds like its on the rear left side when Iam the passenger it sounds like its on the right. The service guy road in the bed said it sounds like its coming from the middle of the truck. He also said it wasn't anything in the drive train. Need Help.
Thanks

If the sound is coming from the center of the bed, check the trans mounts. There really isn't anything other than that there except the fuel tank.

That sounds scary. There really isn't anything else under that part of the vehicle that I can think of that would make a thump.
