2005 Ford F150 only heats on high

Heater problem
2005 Ford F150 V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic 80.000 miles

i think my heater switch is bad it only works on number 4or high is there aything else it could be & how do i get the switch out of dash i do my own repairs but never done this so need a little help thank you peter
