I have a 2005 F150 Lariat with a 5.4L V-8. It runs great most of the time. I have a problem that just started ,when traveling at highway speeds and I push down on the accelerator quickly my truck downshifts and begins to misfire badly. if I ease up it runs correctly. The problem is so bad that I can barely gain speed.
