Engine Performance problem
2005 Ford F150 V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

my idle air control is not working correctly, after changing out a battery, it started to act up and the engine light is on. Where is it located and is there any problems with changing it myself. Sometimes it work fine and others it dies at stopping points and making turns.

See my profile. Do not know your rig. IAC is a valved small bypass allowing small amounts or air into intake. In most rigs it is on the intake very close to the HOSE from the AIR CLEANER. May have shiny motor attached to it w/ wires. MAYBE I HELP, MAYBE I NOT.

Love, turddog
