2005 Ford F150 flasher relay switch

I'm trying to replace my flasher relay. I've taken the plastic cover off of the steering column, do I need to take the steering wheel off and disconnect the airbag in order to replace this or is there an easier way to do this?

If you are refering to the multi switch, yes.
