I have a 2004 Ford F-150, Lariat, 4x4, 65,000 miles.300hp engine.
This truck has had a small vibration upon take off since about a year after i bought it new in 2003. The vibration on take off is now getting worse. I do normal routine maintenance to the truck. I Rotate the tires every 3000 miles.
I have been reading several forums that says this is a big problem with this truck. Does anyone know what is causing these trucks to vibrate?

Thanks
Jim

My wife has a 2004 ford f 150 and had the same problem, is the truck still under warentee? Check the drive shaft and universals, they changed the rear end and, drive shaft on her truck and it stopped.
was told this is a common problem with that driveshaft, it is enclosed and not lubbed. the new one has lubricant in it.
