2004 Ford F150 oil pressure

after warm oil pressure drops to L. shut it off and restart and its fine again for 5-10 mi. any ideas?

WHen it drops, have you ever heard any ticking or knocking from the engine? If not, chances are you need to replace the oil sending unit. It's an easy job and the part should be under 20 dollars. If you need help, let me know. Also, if you do hear sounds from the engine, let me know. There could be internal problems.
