2004 Ford F150 lifter noise

Just bought this truck ,it has the 5.4 changed the oil wich was fine, how do I get rid of the lifter noise ,sounds like a diesel,runs great! Is this common for this year or is somthing wrong?

The motor you have has been around for eons, and isn't noted for lifter noise. You can try some kind of a "miricle in a can", but if you really want to get rid of the noise you'll probably be changing lifters.
