2004 Ford F-150 Emergency shut off swith for fuel pump

the truck was towed because would not start
when it was put on a scope they found that for some reason the emergency shut off switch for the fuel line or pump had switched off, this will only usually happen when the vehicle is in an accident
The truck has now done the same thing again two days later.
Is there a way to reset the swith so that it will start and can be brought in for a further check on wiring etc?
