2003 Ford F150 slave cylinder

I recently bought this truck and it runs fine, but as of late, my clutch has grabbing further and further out. From what i understand I think its the slave cylinder which makes sense, but my question is if the slave cylinder is inside the bell housing or is it accessable without taking apart the tranny???

Slave on outside of trans but think worn clutch disc is the problem
