Last night I sprayed some W-D40 on my moon roof tracks to free it up. Later that evening I looked out and my tail lights and cargo light were on. The head lights were not on. When I went out to unlock the door the interior lights started blinking on and off in a rythmic pattern. The door locks began locking and unlocking on their own. The battery was too dead to start the engine. I disconnected the ground cable at the battery. This morning I tried to jump start the engine and the battery was toofar gone to start the engine. The locks kept locking and unlocking and the tail lights and cargo light was on again. I have not ever had a problem with this truck since I bought it in 2003. I was aware that the battery had seen its better days and would have to be replaced soon. Could all my problems be associated with the battery or could it have something to do with spraying WD-40 on my moon roof tracks? Please help!

Yeah I don't think that spraying wd40 in the tracks had anything to do with it. And yes your battery should definately be the problem or one of the problems.
Look into the battery and get back to me
