WHEN I TURN BUTTON TO 4 WHEEL IT LIGHTS UP ON DASH BOARD BUT WON'T GO INTO 4 WHEEL HIGH OR LOW. WENT TO USE TRUCK ON BEACH BUT GOT STUCK.

Chances are there is a problem with the actuator. It is the electrical motor on the transfer case that shifts it for you. First, check to see if you are getting power to it. If you are, remove the actuator and have it checked. Most likely it is bad.
