Hi - The thermostat was replaced 1 month ago and now the temp gauge is not registering or intermittantly. Local dealer says that the thermostat is fine - the problem lies in the PCM. Could this be possible or do you think it could just be a faulty gauge and that I should install a mechanical and not worry about the factory electric gauge?

Could be a wiring problem, coolant temperature sensor and engine temperature gauge switch or the gauge itself.
