How many miles in a week do you drive and how much oil do you need to add?

That is a lot. If there are no leaks, it has to be burning it or mixing into the coolant via a bad head gasket. Is the coolant clean? Also, do you notice any blue smoke from the exhaust? Is there any oil getting into the air filter?
