Recently I had to install a new trans on my 02 f-150. I am trying to finish up but have now encountered a problem where the flywheel will not turn. I can not turn the crankshaft to move the flywheel. How can I fix the issue?

Hi there,

Is this with the new drive plate attached to the crank or is the engine locked up with out the drive plate attached?

Thanks for getting back to me. I got the flywheel to turn. I had to go through and reinstall the auto trans. Right now I can not seem to get enough power to crank the engine. I am going to try and charge the battery since the truck has sat for two weeks and see if that helps. If it does not though I am out of ideas. So if there is something that you can think of that maybe I overlooked please let me know.
Thanks,
Paul

Hi there,

Make sure that all the battery. starter & earth connections are tight & clean, have the battery charged 7 load tested as this is the only accurate way of checking the battery condition.
