2002 Ford F-150 lumbar control

i have manul lumbar.i can hear metal rattling and feel the rod turning but the lumbar not working is it repair able or will i need a new seat/

It is repairable, but the seat has to come apart in order to get at the cam the adjustment rides on. The cost is minimal if you are doing your own work. Otherwise you can try to find a used seat from a auto salvage yard.
