2001 Ford F-150 Fuel Injectors

I am trying to replace injectors and I am looking for aftermarket parts for a 2001 4.2L 202hp V6 F150 for cheaper then buying from dealer. Everything is stock on the vehicle and I need to know what pound injectors come stock with these trucks. Thank you.

Hello,

The after market injectors meet or exceed the OE (Original Equipment) Injectors. You can call around to your local parts store and get pricing. You can ask if they have Remanufactured Injectors which would be a little cheaper. I believe new injector will run around $75 each.

Well I already knew that. That is not what I asked. I asked what pound fuel injectors come stock on this truck i.E. I know mustang is 42lbs per injector but I need to know what a 2001 4.2L 202hp V6 F150 injector poundage is or what can be replaced without wear on the engine. Thank you

The flow rate is 21 lbs per hour. If this is not what you are looking for then I will ask the other techs for there input.

I have been doing Auto Repair since 1985 and haven't run into anyone wanting to know what the Lbs is on an Injector. The only info I know for injectors are the Flow Rate and the Pressure.

The Fuel Pressures are.

Key on, engine off 240-310 kPa (35-45 psi)

Engine running 193-345 kPa (28-50 psi)

Thats what I was looking for. I geuss it was the flow rate but everysight I went to and the auto stores I asked said that injectors used to be color coded to represent their lbs. I geuss the info was slightly misleading but BIG THANKS and I appreciate the response :)
