What is the procedure and tools required to replace the front wheel bearings and seals?

Removal
Turn off air suspension system, if equipped. Raise and support vehicle. Remove wheel. Remove caliper retainer and anti-rattle springs (if equipped). Remove brake caliper, and wire aside. Remove inboard brake pad (if necessary). Remove caliper anchor plate. Remove grease cap, cotter pin, nut, washer and outer wheel bearing.
CAUTION:DO NOT allow inner bearing and seal to contact spindle threads during removal. Damage to threads, bearing and seal could result.

Discard cotter pin. Carefully slide rotor from steering knuckle. Remove oil seal and inner bearing. Discard oil seal. Using a drift, remove bearing cups (if necessary).
Installation
Clean and inspect bearings and cups. DO NOT spin bearing dry using compressed air. Pack or replace bearings as required. Install outer then inner bearing cup if removed. Install inner bearing and NEW oil seal. Carefully install rotor and outer bearing, washer, and nut. Adjust wheel bearings. See WHEEL BEARING under ADJUSTMENTS & INSPECTION.
To install remaining components, reverse removal procedure. Tighten all nuts and bolts. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Reactivate air suspension system, if equipped.
