Hello,

How long was it on for? If it was only on few a few minutes or so then it may have been just a glitch.

You can go buy your local Autozone and have them see if there are any codes set. If there are post codes here.

Thank you so much, I forgot that is what I had to do last time it was the gas tank cap not on good. I have 1 more question on my chevy I will check back later on that one. AS soon as I can I will try to donate at this time no money.

No problem.

And if you are continually have the problem with your gas cap you may just go ahead and replace it.
