2001 Ford F-150 Cost of exhaust manifold repair

Hi, We are trying to decide whether to repair or convert to a farm vehicle. Can any tell us approximately how much repair of the exhaust manifold should be (upstate/western NY area)? This is required to pass State inspection here because the "service engine soon" light is on.
