Truck got wet and will not shift from 1st to 2nd...Help!

How "wet" did it get?

was on a two track, and went through a large puddle...Not a lake or pond, just a puddle. Did however bottom out, not bad though. Not even real sure that this is the cause. It's just the last thing that happened before the problem.

If the trans fluid is full, chances are you have a bad shift solenoid. THey are in the trans under the filter. Has the check engine light come on?
