Replacing a/c Accumulator

How does the accumulator hose separate from the evaporator? I removed the clip but can't pull them apart. I pulled & twisted but it won't budge and I don't want to break the evaporator.

You will need to remove the Freon in the truck first here is a guide that will help you with that.

Here are some diagrams to show you how to remove the accumulator. It can take some persuading and sometime some wd40 and letting it sit.
