When I Am Moving Forward And I Hit A Bump Or Something Jars The Truck The Rear Brakes Lock Up A Bit I Can Feel The Drag. When I Back up it Releases What Do You Make of that. A mech. friend said it is an equalizer valve or something to that affect.....

Drum or disc brakes on the rear of your truck? Discs could be a load proportioning valve, if drums, may need hardware or adjustment. Does it do this if you are off the brakes when you go over the bump?
