I am having a starting problem that is intermintent. It will start fine most of the time, but I have had on 7 or 8 occasions. I go to start it up, it turns over and won't start. I give it a shot of starting fluid in the air intake and it has started on the first or second try. I took it to my mechanic and he said it wasn't throwing any codes and couldn't find anything wrong. I put a can of fuel treatment thinking there might be some moisture in the gas. Since then it has continued to happen more often. I am thinking this has to be a fuel system problem, I didn't think it could be the fuel pump, but for some reason the fuel is not getting in the combustion chamber. Or could it be some kind of sensor issue. Any Idea what could be causing this problem?

When this happens, I need you to check for fuel pump pressure. Here is a how to:

If the pressure is low, check it before the fuel filter to make sure the filter isn't plugged and causing the problem. And yes, if it starts with starting fluid, you are correct. It's a fuel related issue.

Let me know what you find with the pressure. If it is good, we will need to check for an injector pulse to see if they are working when this happens.

I checked the pump pressure, the fuel filter and the injector pulse. They all checked out fine. So i'm still at a loss for what the problem is.

As I replied on Dec 16 everything you recommended did not help me. I did not get a reply from you. Your recommendations did not help solve the problem!
Your site says if you don't solve the problem you will refund the donation. I would appreciate that.

Thankyou
