2000 Ford F150 emission test

when we go to get emission tested, their testing apparatus cannot communicate with our truck. the guy says check all the fuses under hood. have done that, they look good. help

If they are connecting to the same connector as they use to check the computer for codes, Ford ran the connector on the same fuse as the cig lighter. The fuse is under the dash, not under the hood. Check that one, or check the lighter first.
