Steering problem
2000 Ford F150 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive 140000 miles

My power steering is leaking but its a slow leak, I dont know if the hoses need to be replaced or the pump. I dont have much money and was wondering if it would be cheaper to have a mechanic look at it or do it myself?

It's always cheaper to do it yourself. However, are you able to determine where the leak is coming from? I don't want you replacing parts that are still good.

Let me know.
