will lock the doors but will not unlock the doors

My f150 door locks will lock the doors but will not unlock the doors, the remote doesnt open them either, but the locks try to open with the remote or switches

Hello,

This issue is possibly due to a bad door lock actuator. It likely has an internal malfunction that is not allowing the door to unlock.

In order to replace the actuator, the door panel needs to be removed. Which is held on by few screws and several plastic fasteners.
