Hi, on my truck when I brake, in the rear end, there is a clicking sound. I've had a mechanic look at the rear drum brakes and he could not find anything wrong or a wearing spot so then he lifted up the rear end and put the car into drive and hit the brakes to see if it was going on in the axle but while in the air it would not make the clicking sound. Would you have an idea of what this may be and is it damaging my truck? Thank you for any help.

Check the u-joints on the driveshaft...The other possibily is if it has a center cap on the wheel, take it off and try it...
