cannot get rear drums off,what is the trick

Hi there,
If they are just stuck on the axle flange, give then a belt with a hammer, (wear goggles if you do this)this will shock it loose, and sometimes there is a deep lip on the in side of older drums, so you may have to back off the brake adjuster to decrease the shoe contact so the drum will slide off.
